£25,000 to £28,000 per annum plus package
Our client is a successful sub-contractor offering a specialist service to their client base. The company work throughout East Anglia offering a sub contract service to Main Contractors and Residential Developers. Due to expansion they are now looking to recruit a business development executive to join their successful bid team.
You will be primarily responsible for generating and managing new business accounts. As you grow into the role you will also manage existing accounts to ensure that the business remain a relevant, primary supplier as well as being the customers main point of contact within the group.
You will develop strong internal relationships with the company estimating and design teams and other business development managers to maintain the sharing of information & best practice
• Identifying new business and developing it into a sales opportunity promoting the business and its services via leads, cold calling and site visits.
• Managing all accounts to ensure they receive a full, supportive sales service and identify growth areas, positioning the business’s service range to fit customer needs
• Assisting Customers to achieve their deadlines by providing and understanding the best solution for their individual needs.
• Maintaining regular contact with Customers and ensuring that they receive regular account reviews including managing non-spending customers, identifying issues or objections.
• Liaising with Customers, preparing quotations and the follow up of all outstanding quotes.
• Developing and maintaining industry knowledge and presence.
• At least 2 years’ experience working within a commercial sales environment, ideally customer facing
• Experience selling into the property or construction sectors would be advantageous
• Experience of working within a target driven environment & building a sales pipeline
• Telesales / cold calling experience including account management
• Good organisation skills and ability to use own initiative
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Ability to build lasting relationships with clients
• A clear understanding of the sales process
• Thrives on a challenge and change
• Smart, professional, self-motivated & punctual
