Plant Co-Ordinator / Administrator
£24,000 to £27,500 per annum
Our client is a well established civil engineering contractor based in the Braintree district. Due to organic growth, the company is currently searching for an experienced administrator or coordinator to join their plant division.
The role would suit someone coming from a civil engineering or plant hire background. This opportunity would suit someone that is looking to join a progressive company that offers excellent career progression.
You will be working closely alongside the Head of Plant for the business and be involved in the on-going day to day operations within the division. Your key responsibilities will include:
• Ordering Small Tools & PPE
• Issuing of Tools & PPE
• Managing Tool & PPE Stores / keeping tidy.
• Plant paperwork i.e. defect sheets etc filing.
• Recording Hours on to computer system.
• Fuel ordering site and yard.
• Plant stock takes.
• Cover of Plant Manager
• Transport paperwork filing
• Lifting inspection paperwork
• Calibration of small plant
• Ordering of fuel cards.
• Compiling of monthly invoices.
• General plant admin.
This is a position that will suit an ambitious and driven individual, that is able to self-manage and be proactive in day to day tasks. This fast pace role will require someone with an existing knowledge of Plant Hire / Heavy Plant & Machinery whilst also maintain excellent organisational skills.
You will be working as part of a close knit team and will be entrusted with a significant level of responsibility, in turn you will be rewarded well and have the opportunity to progress internally.
